These are real embroidery, not printed appliques. The threadwork catches the light and keeps its texture wash after wash.

What you get: 10 identical butterfly patches, each about 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide, with an iron-on backing.

How to apply: place the patch where you want it, cover with a thin cotton cloth, and press with a hot, dry iron for about 20 seconds. Turn the garment inside out and press again, then let it cool. For items washed often, stitch around the edge as well.
